Instrument Pilot Certification Course with Atlanta Pilot

Your instrument training will be adapted and customized to meet your specific needs based on your experience and goals. We utilize the Garmin 430 GPS for most of our instrument training. However, we also have a Garmin G-1000 in a Glass Cockpit Cessna for those interested in Technologically Advanced instrument training

The minimum requirements based on FAA regulations are included:
  30 hours flight time in a 2004 Diamond Eclipse (Block Rate)
$2,760.00
 
  10 hours of simulator training $260.00  
  40 hours dual flight instruction $1,600.00  
  15 hours individual ground instruction $600.00  
  Instrument Training kit $164.90  
  FAA Written Test $80.00  
  FAA Flight Test $300.00  
  Total: $5,764.90  

Since everyone has their own pace at which they learn best, you should expect additional time and expense to complete your training. We can give you ideas to keep your costs to a minimum if you are willing to put in the effort. The below chart can help you estimate extra expenses.
